Bakers Cist?

Anyone ever heard of a Bakers Cist? well Zayden has had a huge lump on the back of his knee for some time and so I took him to the doctor and they did all the tests and they said it was a bakers cist. I don't know if I really believe them though. We don't have the greatest doctors here in the great big town of meeker! So any advise or thoughts on the subject would be appreciated. They told me it should go away on it's own but if it's not gone in three months to bring him back in. it has been two months and it is not getting any smaller. I am not a worry wart mom, but i have to admit I am starting to be concerned...

SIX MONTHS

I cannot believe my baby is six months old! He is quite a little character! We have not taken him in for his six month check up yet but at his five month sick appointment he weighed in at 17.9 lbs and was 26 in. long. So all in all I think he is healthy!

He is rolling and sitting and almost up on his knees. He scoots around on the floor trying to chase his siblings or toys and as a result has some pretty ugly carpet burns on his arms. But he doesn't seem to mind! He laughs so much at his brother and sister and they know just what will get him going. He loves to be thrown around (quite literally) by his daddy and just laughs and laughs and laughs. His smile just gets me every time and when he knows I am leaving the room or moving on to do chores or work, he just puckers his lower lip and it is all I can do to keep from buckling! What a charmer! He is such a joy to have around and we are so blessed to have him in our lives! We love you Deklan!

So I have this amazing talent of dropping, misplacing or breaking important things. The latest? My brand new camera. We were at the mall and kaleah had to use the restroom, so I took her and I had the diaper bag over my shoulder. She finished and asked me to help her pull up her tights and skirt, so I did and the contents of the front pocket of the diaper bag all fell out; keys, phone, diaper ointment, teething tablets and yes my NEW camera. It all fell on the floor with the exception of said camera..... right into the toilet! So needless to say I have been camraless for two weeks. last week we drove the two hours to a best buy and because I had purchased the warrenty I thought we would be fine. but unfortunetly we get there and the girl at the counter tells us it only covers spills, not full emersions into water. but she felt bad and wrote on the claim it had had "a large amount of water spilled" onto it and so they accepted the claim and we get a new camera. So thank you to the best buy girl. Now I just have to find the time to drive two more hours to go get the new one! Oh how I want to be back in the city!

It is snowing!!!! I thought spring was on its way! it has been sunny and warm and sunny.... so sad!

Say what???

So Zayden Just turned 4 on monday! (will blog about that later...) but last week I was sitting in the kitchen trying to prepare for dinner and in he walks and this is our conversation....

Zayden- mommy can I have a snack?
M-No I am making dinner?
Z- Please I am REALLY starvin?...
M- No you can wait.
Z - ugh... you're really tickin me off dude!

Seriously??? and then, we are all in the family room playing and horsing around and zayden looks at kyler and says "daddy, you are a selfish Jerk pck." !!!! What the??? So we asked him where he had heard this saying and ... wait for it... he said "uncle Skye"!!! So of course we start laughing uncontrollably until we realize probably not ok to do infront of Z. So we ask him what it means... and he replies... "mommy it just means that daddy is SO funny. He just cracks me up..." So needless to say we then had to explain to him what it really meant so he would not repeat to someone else... i.e. his primary teacher. grandparents or best friend with whom he is with every day and proclaims to marry someday... What can I say... "kids say the darndest things!"

Expectaions........and Romance....

So anyone that KNOWS my husband is totally gonna laugh at this post... So I always have such high expectations when it comes to Romance and holidays, like my birthday, our anniversary, valentines and christmas. I also just keep thinking that Kyler will randomly bring home flowers or leave a note on my pillow... Yeah.... there is a VERY good chance that I married the least romantic man on this earth. Not that he isn't a great husband and father.... just not a romantic one! and even though I have told him time and time again how to romance a person, given him several books and make him watch silly romance comedies with me.... NOTHING!!!! the last time I got flowers was our first Valintines day together. and they were Carnations!!! the ugliest flower ever! ( sorry if you like them!) the last time he planned a romantic evening or even just date night??? NEVER!!!! oh wait he did romance me when we were dating! so like 6 weeks! Anyway, you would think I would just give up and realize it is never going to happen! but I foolishly admitt I will probably continue to hope and I will probably continue to get dissappointed. One thing I know for sure and I know will never change, is how much I love him. it makes everything else ok. I LOVE HIM!!!! So even though this seems like a Kyler bashing blog, it's not. And for all you ladies out there with romantic men... please continue to share your stories so I can Vicariously live through you! haha. The End.

So I am pretty sure I am just never going to be super amazing at blogging all the time! (sorry

Andrea!) I just feel like when I do have computer time, I always have something else that I HAVE to get done! but I thought you all deserved a little update on life in the Ross' house.

So Deklan is almost three months old... I can't believe it! at his two week check up he was 13lbs, 22 inches. he is growing so fast! alreay in 9 month clothes! he is an angel and a blessing to his mommy. he has her wrapped around his finger!

Kaleah is quite the little drama queen...hmm wonder where she gets that from... shw pretty much rules the world and can get anything from her daddy and she knows it... doesn't help with mommies disiplining... she has been sick for a week and shows no sign of getting better... she actually tells me she is tired and goes and lays down!!! probably time to visit the doc.

Zayden is the Biggest help in the world to his parents. He is and always has been such an independant little boy. well he is just content reading and playing on his own, so when mommy needs a break or a shower, he is awsome! he also loves helping with his little brother and sister. He has got one crazy imagination on him though. I am preety sure he will end up an author or movie writer/producer... yep it's that intense and he is three!

I am still trying to get adjusted to life with three... it's coming easier, I just have a selfish part about me that I am really working to get rid of. I love my kids and will always do whats best for them, but sometimes I feel like doing what I want... oh well. I am happy being a mom. I am really looking forward to moving back to Idaho soon... hopefully.

Kyler is just Kyler. He is amazing super dad to his kids and super husband to me! I love him and I know he is struggling with the job hunt, but he plays so cool! I love you kyler!

Drum Roll Please...

Deklan Lakai Ross was born at 8:37 pm on the 15th!!! and he wasn't huge! 8lbs 2 oz!!! pics to come!

Pregnancy...

Yes I HATE being Prego... I am not one of those women who feel good and love their body... I am fat, uncomfortable and ready for this kid to come out... on this note, Baby Ross will come on Sept 14th. I am being induced. I had a dr appointment today and they did an ultra sound (which at 38 weeks is kinda cool to see!) and they do not want him to get over ten pounds. ( I would have to have a C-Section.) So the 14th it is... only one more week and I get my "body" back. When I say this i mean I don't have to share anymore... is that selfish???

So we went to the lake this weekend and had a blast! we got to see two of our sisters on the ross side that we haven't seen in a while! it was hot and sunny and un was had by all!!!

And yes... this is me at 36 weeks tubing and yes that is Kaleah standing up while we were tubing!!! She loved it! She wanted to go much faster but being in a tube my belly was absorbing all the bounce!!! Thanks Chris and Kyler for planning an awesome trip!

Do you really need the toys???

So this morning I got in the shower and left my kids playing with a movie on and this is what I came out to...

So I ask... Do we really need to purchase toys that end up on the floor and played with maybe 50% of the time??? or Do you think the toy BOX is a better way to go??? When I asked Zayden what they were doing, he informed me that they were in the middle of the ocean in California watching a movie from their boat.... Kids, you gotta love them!!!

Time...

I know, I know... I really do think about updating alot. but I never have my camera and our computer is not in a place where I can just leave my kids and go blogging... nice thought, but no. So I will post without photos today, just so I can say I did. Pictures will come I promise.

Idaho was amazing and I can't wait to go back next month for my sisters wedding! Yes Chloe' is getting Married!!!! To Nick Hessing a GREAT guy. We love him.

Baby #3 come sometime next month as well, making the arrival of me at my sisters wedding questionable... but I am determined to be there... My due date is the 20th, and She gets married on the 25th, so, because I have HUGE babies, they are thinking about taking him a week early... this would help....

Zayden and Kaleah are SO excited for baby brother to get here they ask me everyday if we are going to the doctor so he can come out!

We are still thinking about names, so if you have any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated.

Starlight Reunion!!!

Games, Singing, performing, parades, memory lane video, and... this is closing night of Joseoh and all past casts will perform the finale'. How amazing will that be! Happy mothers day to all the beautiful mothers out there! I might not know you THAT well, but I love and appreciate all that you do! And to my mom! I love you stinkin guts! My mom is pretty much the most awsome onthe planet. I can't wait to go up and be able to spend a month with her this summer! love you mom!

4 Years!!!

Today is our fourth Anniversary! I cannot believe that it has been that long! I guess the saying "time flies when your having fun!" rings true! Kyler and I have had so much fun over the last four years... We have three kids...(almost), we have moved 8 times! (yes, we are ready to settle..but who knows), we love each other SOOOO much...(ok I am talking for him too! haha). and most of all we are so excited to keep on going for more and more and more years! I am so glad I have the best husband in the world to spend eternity with! I love you Kyler! Happy Anniversary!

Baby News!

Well I finallly made it to the doctor on Monday and the verdict is... IT'S A BOY!!! YAY!!! I am so excited! He is healthy and growing like a weed. The doctor thought I might be further along than I am but we figured out there is no way that is possible. so Sept 20th it is and she said that if he keeps growing the way he is they will have to take him early. they do not want him getting bigger than 10 lbs! She said that he is only supposed to weigh about 4oz right now but he is about 10oz. so He is already showing signs of following in his older siblings footsteps of being a big baby! We are really excited and have no names yet but we will keep you posted!

Sisters...

So you all know that I moved to Middle of no where Colorado, USA... I never really knew how hard this was going to be. I mean The closest walmart is an hour away. the closest mall is two hours away... for a city girl this is really hard!!! the hardest part of all though, is being away from my family. I really miss having my mom right around the corner and my dad to give me hugs when I need it, but the person I miss the most is my sister Chloe'. Chloe' and I have been through so much over the last few years and it has created a bond between us that is impossible to break. I miss her smile and the way we would laugh at inside jokes. I miss the midnight phone calls and visits when we needed a shoulder to cry on. I miss our late night runs to Taco bell and the long but enjoyable rides to Garden Valley together. I just wanted to let her know that she is missed and I can't wait to see her soon! Love you Chloe' you are my Rock, my sister and my best friend! I LOVE YOU!!!
